The precise net costs/proceeds will not be determinable until shortly before the closing is conducted. The final numbers will certainly differ to some degree and will be presented to you on either a Closing Disclosure Form, an ALTA Settlement Statement, or a HUD-I Closing Statement depending on your role in the transaction and type of transaction. These are prepared from the contract, the lender’s instructions and then known facts about the record title. One of these will be furnished as soon as it is prepared and cleared for release. Please refer to your contract and the lender’s disclosures for details.
Positive/Negative Results: A Positive result for the Buyer reveals how much they will pay at closing and, rarely, A Negative result will reveal that they will receive funds at closing.
